Watani Bank and FireFox

As one of the long saga in kuwait bloggers and where a lot kept on talking and sending e-mail after e-mail to Watani to fix the page and make it compatible with Firefox they finaly annouce that it work a week or two ago
as read mark blog

Well today i was using my UshopWEship account and tried to pay for a shipment , i had the account for over a month now and didn’t order anything till last week ( world cup and such ) i log in and the site look funky and bad [Firefox]

Normaly i don’t care how a site look like , if it work that all important , so anyway , i get the shipment and try to pay for it , and i keep on getting an error message from NBK site [error]
over and over and over , i switched from Visa credit card to Visa online , same thing , switch to Knet , same thing
after time and time and time i nearly got sick and was going to call the UshopWeship people and ask them to delete the account
then i remmbered ,, when i registered i was using IE and not Firefox , so i start IE , log into UshopWeship site and i got ” WOW ”
Check the page with [ IE ]

And clicking on NBK page to pay didn’t Give me the same Error ! and it worked with the same Credit card that they refused even to take its number before 19 times

So NBK site isn’t as combatible with Fire fox as they claim they are
I hope they fix their webpages ( both NBK and UshopWEship ) i switched and i’m not going back

This is a wired story

Leni has come home to introduce her fiancÈ Rafi to her idiosyncratic Jewish family for the first time. Everything goes smoothly until the lovers belatedly reveal that Rafi is Palestinian. Amid the ensuing hysteria, Rafi escapes to the kitchen where he drops the soup he was meant to defrost out of the 7th floor window, hitting a pedestrian below. One funny thing , they used a spanish actor to play the palestinian role and he look more like an arab than most people that hollywood employe these days

Oh and they used Amro Diab Song , he would enjoy it ( if they didn’t just use it without telling him )

Strange Phone call

I Was on my bed sleeping when the phone Start ringing , i wake up and look at the mobile ringing there in the distant , beyond my horizon , on a table 30 cm away from my bed

I wake up , and walk to it , pick it up and say

Me : alooo
Other guy : alooo
me : hala ?
OG : you have won ( with him barely keeping the laugh and someone laughing in the background )
me : what ?
OG : ( load laughs ) you won a computer come and pick it ( more laughs ) isn’t that right guys ( couple of people laughed )
Then he hang up

I’m assuming this a prank call , but its too stupid to be a prank call , they didn’t even try
