kuwait , my great country ( at least in my eye ) it has its up and downs , but its still my country
a lot of people ask me what people do at government jobs , and thats its boring as hell
well yeah its boring ” the Job ” but the job got its advantage

Well, its 2005 and its time for a new census in Kuwait, so Ministry of planning start working

What I want to understand, why still use the old methods like this
Spray paint? My god what are you doing! Why just screw people? Do Kuwait streets and houses need to be uglier with spry paint?
Why not equip people with laptops and GPS and let them roam around marking the houses electronically on the maps and satellite picture

I remember back in school , when the Kuwait National Anthem play during the morning that most student didn’t know the other lyrics for the National Anthem , everyone just knew the first verse , since it was the easiest , but if you asked anyone about the rest , they don’t remember it .
For a time I had it memorized, my memory of it has missing words here and there.
Anyway I was reading news on the net here and there and found this
About 61 percent of Americans, or nearly two out of three, don’t know all of the words to the 74-year-old national anthem, according to a recent Harris Interactive survey. So the 3-year educational initiative aims to reteach Americans the “Star-Spangled Banner” and get us all singing it again — proud, aloud and in public.
Wow, that a big percentage, I wonder if we have similar or even bigger (I would estimate it around 20% not know if you ask about the first verse only, 85% if you as for the full one)
What got my attention in that article isnโt the percentage, what got me was that DaimlerChrysler, was funding the project, why canโt private sector in Kuwait to do his share in Kuwait? Do we have to impose Tax code and have deduction in it so they start throwing money on projects like this?
