Kuwaiti Blogger Conspiracy …

Alwatan Newspaper discovered a kuwaiti blogger conspiracy
according to their news post

The Parliament member says that the ” experience prove that blogs are two kinds , one is a temporary and not continued appear and disappear and maybe stay for a short while but never return and this is from half amateurs
the second kind are people with agenda and planed targets and follow what ever its size , their work is not Coincidence and in the two kind there is secrecy , the first the Truth is lost about why he did it and the second still commenting his crime

This is going to be the first part of my expose on Kuwaiti bloggers

Our first is nibaq with his blog Savior Machine
some of you know nibaq as the guy who is running KuwaitBlogs site
on his blog about page he claim

I work in the import/export business. We import um stuff, and export…nothing.

Is that the truth ? check this and think

On his blog Wednesday April 4, 2007 , he posted that he is in Turkey

I am 80km from Istanbul in a small hotel needing a ferry ride and a two hour drive

Kuwaitis in Turkey thats normal right ? well no , its not the traveling season yet , because most schools / Universities aren’t on vacation yet , yet nibaq went to Turkey

And Check who else is in Turkey now

KUWAIT: The tour of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser AlـMohammed AlـSabah to Turkey

Coincidence ? i think not

more to come ….

Kareem Amer A blogger jailed are you next ?

A 22-year-old Egyptian blogger named Abdul Kareem Suleiman Amer assumed the handle ‘Kareem Amer’ on his blogblogong time ago but now people from around the world know him by this name. His blogblogtings, in favor of secularism and women’s rights, led to his expulsion from al-Azhal Azharrsity in early 2006 and solitary confinement in prison since November. This morning an Alexandria court sentenced Kareem to four years in prison for criticcriticizingian President Mubarak and insulting Islam

You may not agree with what Kareem said , but thats not the point , the point is people are getting jailed for saying what they think , your thoughts shouldn’t be jailed
yes i may not agree with at least 1/2 of the blogs that apear on safat agregator religous or political belifs but thats doesn’t mean i want to silince them , for to silence them is indicator that you are weak , your argument can’t not hold up to his argument

Our freedom is shrinking Isp blocking sites left and right , site begin hacked , i heard rumors of the internal secuirty employing newly captured hackers

Iran was cracking down on bloggers , now egypyt , i think we are close by

Today they took kareem , tomorow they come for you !
more information and new at free Kareem
Oh and on a final note , if Kuwait did start to crack down on blogs i wouldn’t last more than a day or two , so i would probably confess about you fast

Our Rights shouldn’t be thrown out !

Our Fablous Government is throwing yet more of our Rights away

I don’t know why our government is always Eager to sign anything that they are presented with , not sure there is much thinking going on there

Now According to the [BBC]

The most disturbing illustration of this double standard is the IIPA’s criticism of compulsory copyright licensing requirements.

Countries around the world, particularly those in the developing world (including Indonesia, the Philippines, Lebanon, Kuwait, Nigeria, and Vietnam) all face demands to eliminate compulsory licensing schemes in the publishing and broadcasting fields.

Kuwait is going to give up compulsory copyright license
What is That you ask ?
it is an exception to copyright law that is usually philosophically justified as an attempt by the government to correct a market failure.
Some compulsory licenses protect those who wish to use a work for educational or non-commercial purposes.

Why there is no Student price for Software like Windows ?

Could it Be ? some logic in the parliment ?

And Al Enezi Assured that the right way that would be able to see the light and succeed is the one that is agreed upon from all to be full and compelling to help the citizen , noticing that the borrowers are suffering from the increase of interest rate on loans which started the problem so we are going to fix that problem and this policy so it doesn’t happen again

Alrai[Arabic]

The good thing about it is not how they are going to fix it , interest rate go up and down , thats the norm , however some are saying that the bank spiked it up a lot and the Central bank is partly to blame here , but thats not why I’m happy
I’m happy Because they are thinking of solving the problem at the root , instead of pain killers as always

Al Enzi , you talk the talk , lets see if you Walk the Walk

Freej-Gate !

I don’t know about most of you readers , but most of my family watched Freej , the Cartoon from Dubai TV
and they liked it , and where impressed by how Emirates people did that

Well it seem it wasn’t Full Emiraty thing as they claim

DataQuest

So what does the current slate look like?
Currently we are working on 15 Direct to home Movies for the North American market. These DVDs are all outsourced assignments and the deadline for completion is September 2007. The current output is 150 minutes of animation a month and the plan is to double that soon. We are also doing a 104 episode TV Series for a Holland based company
as well as Freej a Series of seventeen short episodes of 15 minutes each for Dubai Media City telecast on Dubai City.
